Full Version: Contracts?

Do you have any kind of contract/agreement with your customers? If so what are you currently using. Also in the past what have you used and found out didn't work for you and why?

Right now I am the process of coming up with something. Nothing to crazy but maybe have to do with how many times they can make changes...

I got burned at my last job with there "non-contract" work they let someone make changes on the site for six months straight and never changed them any extra.
There are a few sites on the web that you can purchase contract templates. What I did is stop trying to use "contracts" when working on projects and instead I make sure that the project requirements not only spell out everything for the product but also has information in it such as deadlines and pricing.

This has worked really well for me because my clients don't feel like they are under "contract" and I also have something in writing that we both agree on.
