How many do you use?
ATM i use just one or two as if
you use too many i think you get
all posted out and posting over the
same kinda stuff day after day can
get tedious....BUT i do enjoy posting Very Happy
I'm quite new in bussines but I'm working active on 8-10 forums. (More than 2/3 posts per day)

Regards
I probably have around 15 forums that I visit regularly but I don't post much. I prefer reading or I'm usually there for something specific.
I have 5 forums that I visit daily. I mod on two of them so that takes up a good amount of time. The other are tech related and I hang out in the market place looking for things that I really can't afford. Surprised
IMO if you register at forums you should
try to post there unless you joined on a post
exchange i dont see the point in joining say
15plus forums then not posting why not just
use 1 or 2 and post regularly?
Currently I use about two forums that I regularly post on. Some other ones I post on just a couple of times a month.

Most of them are technical/webmaster forums and I'm often seeking info or help with something. The search function usually comes up with something, if not on one forum then on another. I post if I can't find anything or on the rare occasion I know something that could actually help someone asking a question.

I use it a lot, but not as much as people think I do.
i think if you own or run forums/websites etc you do
tend to use a lot of others anyway as often your members
have sites too...i think the key is not to neglect your own
forum by posting on others but if you do a few posts here
and there then thats fine but joining and not posting
isnt nice ...we dont like it on our own forums so we cant
expect others to like it either Very Happy

Yup, I agree. Some use it for promotion use.

i dont mind posting on anyones forums to help
but it has to work both ways and they should
return the favour...posting on a lot of boards
takes up a lot of free time so is only polite to
thus return the favour Wink
i am finding difficult to keep my one forum alive Razz
I visit 5 every day. It is a good idea, with 5+ to set up email folders for each forum and redirect all mail from them into there, then turn on thread subscription. You get a direct mail feed!

I like the idea of having "forum folders" for mail. I think I'm going to try that!

Thanks!

Johnny

Thats a good idea. I also like those with RSS feeds. Not just for forums but sites in general. Saves me a lot of time.
