Freelance Forums

Lately here at Freelance Lounge, we are experiencing high amounts of spam throughout the forums. I would like to issue this to spammers:

Spammers, we DO know your ip address, we CAN report you to your isp, webhost, and whoever else we feel we need to, and if necessary, we will.

The Staff Team work hard all week, every week to make sure that the freelance lounge experience is the best you can have. We will not be tolerating this anymore.

To the majority of the members, the GOOD majority: We are working with you to stop spam, and we would appreciate if you could pm one of us and tell us if you see any undealt with spam. It allows us to look straight into the issue, wherever we are on the web.

perhaps you should make a forum made just for spam?

We have a forum, visible to staff only, where we dump all the threads. The type of spam we are receiving is pornography, advertising, and general nonsense.

We dont want to make a forum publicly visible for it, because we don't accept it here.

porn and ads eh? well, it could be a good sign that your site is easily findable in google
