Freelance is good because it enables you not to stick only in one business, there are many freelancers who lives successfully, because they have many source of income, more time and more space, unlike if you are an office employee you need to stick on that job all day all night, although the income is stable, but when you are a freelancer you need to have a time management for yourself also accept more work, the more you work the more income you'll get, and your income depends on your work and also you can be what you wanna be. Remember more work more income less worry.

Some people may be frightened by the responsibility no longer being taken from their shoulders

Also freelancing may mean working more hours than it could be expected at first.
Of course, every case is different.
From what you've written, it seems that you are a successful freelancer - it's great to hear this

I would like to welcome wcm_ambas to our community! Hi wcm_ambas
Next, I have to agree with you both.

Funny story here. I have a friend that was really worried about freelancing full time so I talked him into moonlighting. Well after about 5 months he figured out he could make more money freelancing then he was making at his 9-5. Not to long after that he was laid off from his job. He called me and told me getting laid off was the best thing that every happen to him because it forced him to work for his self full time and he could not be happier!

Freelancing is NOT good. That is an understatement. Freelancing is Great, absolutely great.
I started off freelancing when I got an Internet connection at home. And I do it now too. It is a great lifestyle (a bit challenging at times, but that's ok).
