How many hours in a week do you take to promote your freelance portfolio?

I don't have one yet but I think that if I do, I'd probably spend less than an hour a week.
Are you talking about general advertising, like using AdWords?
Not really. I mean advertising it in other freelance forums. You know, to see if anyone needs help on something and that you can do it so you post a reply or start a new thread about your experience.
Good question
I try to minimize the amount of time I have to spend looking for work, but I do find it pays to keep my bios up to date on the job search sites I subscribe to
I find using specialized search tools also allow me to save time

While it may seem tedious to go out and advertise your portfolio, even a small amount of time this week can really increase your connections and even get valuable feedback on your website/portfolio.
It varies for me when I was still in the freelancer biz. I usually spend about 2 to 5 hours daily.
