Have you ever bought a new PC part (video card, audio card, hard drive, etc.) and when you tested it, it's defective?
I'm sure I've got one of everything you listed defective at one time or another... The only thing I really ever worry about is the stores return policy. Sometimes the store makes it hard to return computer parts.

Very true. I've seen a few friends have a lot of problems trying to return software. I have not had to return any software in a pretty long time.
I haven't return any software for a long time too mainly because I only bought less than 10 softwares in last 2 years or so.
