I get a lot of my business for word of mouth. I think that's the best form of advertising. When needed I do run AdWords but thats about it.

Word of Mouth is proven to be the best there is. There is no better sales pitch than giving a potential client an email address or phone number to a client that would be happy to help to get new clients!
Word of month is always best but you should have lots of contacts. I perfer to get started by bidding on sites like ours

I totally agree here. Its nice to have repeat clients to work with on multiple projects.

All my projects come from word-of-mouth. The nice thing I think about this is that you know almost all of you clients (at least, for a buisiness my size)
