Just wondering what messenging programs you use?

Mostly, I use MSN & Skype. Sometimes yahoo. Never used aim. All of my friends from high school to uni, every single one uses msn.

Mainly MSN, (have been with them since windows messenger was top of the range (!)) and sometimes skype for conferences and live client chat.

I mainly use MSN as well but I do have friends on almost all the major IM networks (AMI, ICQ, etc..) so I run trillian.

I used trillian for a while, like 1-2 years, then gaim for another year, but since i transfered so many files and stuff, it was a pain. Both have problems with transfering files.

Very true. I've also found that sometimes its has problems with firewalls but most times works pretty well.

Trillian is a nice program. I used to use it when I used IRC more. These days I stick to MSN as most people use it and it does what I need. I'm surprised to see none mention googles chat program, maybe it's not taken off as fast as they'd like.

I tried Google chat and only found one other friend to use it with. I have to agree with you. I don't think it has taken off as fast as they hoped.

I'm using Skype and sometimes MSN (to chat with my clients who don't have Skype).

I use to use AIM but now i prefere MSN.

Have you talked via audio using MSN? I've tried a few times and the audio was cutting out.

Is Adium a good alternative to Trillain?

I use IRC and Google Talk. I don't like MSN messenger that everyone uses...

I use Yahoo Messenger.

I had to do an upgrade yesterday, and I wouldn't had known this unless I got this message letting me to upgrade. How long was this upgrade out for???
