Have you been a part of a huge group of programmers? If so, then what are the pros and cons from your experience?

Yes I have.

Pros

Being able to get a huge project complete in a short amount of time
Learning from the people you are working with

Cons

Integrating all the parts everyone is working on
Communication
Delays

So, have you had another project after your first experience? Did the second one went much smoother so that there's almost no cons?
