I always try to help others when I can and over time I've noticed that giving a little help to someone in need always pays off. A few weeks ago I helped an old friend of mine setup a website. He told me it was almost done and only needed a little help. Well, once I get to his house and started looking at the site it was clear that he needed a lot of help. To make a long story short I spent the next 2 days cleaning up his site and helping him get it online.

Here is the good part. Last week I got a call from a guy needing a pretty big project done. Come to find out my buddy told him about me and gave me a really good recommendation!

I just wanted to share this great info.
Good story. I believe this works very well even though I haven't had this kind of experience yet.

Yes, it was a very nice experience.

Helping people without expecting anything in return and finally getting an unexpected reward is the best feeling. Another way to help a friend is to refer clients to him but you must have confidence he will do a good job. If not your credibility is damaged
I agree with ^ him...

When you refer a friend, be sure he could do the job - or else it could backfire on you Wink
