I have windows firewall running, my router has remote access disabled, I run encryption for my wireless network, AVG virus scanner is run once a week, and every few weeks or so I run AdWare...
What do you guys do?

Virus Scan: As often as possible, normally once every three or four days.
Wireless Network: WPA-PSK (stops the locals getting online unless I give them the code
) and it has a firewall built in.
Web: Norton Internet Security Suite 2005 running all the time.

I run my Yahoo Anti-Spyware whenever I think about it, but I use Firefox so therefore I don't get any results
I run Ad-Aware once a week, since I got Firefox, 0 results comes up
I run Norton Anti-Virus Professional Edtion 2003 once a week
I am using Bitdefender and Pc-Cillin and i use Ad-Aware SE Professional.
Well, I don't use anything except a virus scan once a month. I'm not a security freak
Is there a need for so many security software on you system ?
isnt it better to just have an antivirus software alone?
spyware usually enters through downloading of games, going to certain websites and so on. If you have good surfing habits, spyware will not be able to enter your system.
nothing anymore since i use ubuntu linux! I love it! and of course AVG on my xp partition
Yeah, my boyfriend generally has something like 20 viruses on his computer at a time. Aparently he tends to have bad surfing habits, and I agree.
I however run a virus scan only if my computer is acting oddly, and keep my firewall up.
My computer's too old to get viruses anyways.
