i say you switch from phpbb to mybb. You will get more respect from bigger industry ppl , and you could get a couple really good coders on your site posting which would be a real +++ unlesss you have some already. Im not really sure!

I like PHPBB so I'm sure the forum will run under their software till the software cannot support our community. I appreciate your feedback!

np, im the same as you, but my friend is bugging me to switch, he says its great. The only down side would be the templates and how little their are. He tells me that its actually easy to convert and he might convert my template for my forums

MyBB is a great board, very easy to mod and alotta options, however Phpbb is the same way, If ya need some help phiber just let me know, and if any of you would like to see something added let me or one of the mods know, and I can install it, with Phiber's permission of course
It all depends on what YOU are comfortable with. You have to look at all the features, but the best way to decide is to try them out as an admin and a user.

MyBB is so unknown, you won't get anymore respect then you do running phpBB.
I have to agree with Isaac, not many people know abour MyBB.
Them not knowing doesnt make it any less board, I played with it as a test, it's a very very nice board, Admin alot like IPB, easy to mod, pretty much installs em for you. I liked it, but It is what ya like and what you feel best with thats all that matters.
